Getting arthritic-looking swellings in my index fingers. They don't hurt much yet, but looking down the road, I suspect I will have to find another, less physical way to make a living.

i had mine taken out when i was 3 or 4.

I had mine taken out a few days ago laparoscopically.  I got very sick, very quickly, but they found it with a blood test and a CAT scan and took it out before it ruptured, then sent me home the next afternoon.  I developed an infection in the place where my appendix used to be, so now I'm taking Cipro for it, along with a few different medicines for pain.
