Also, just a couple of miles from DC the train slows to a crawl. I still have to transfer to the Metro for two stops and then walk half a mile. Meeting starts promptly at 0900! Argh!  >:(

The Metro is really cool, though.

When we visit my brother in Alabama, he lives so far out in the country that there is almost never any cell phone service at his house.  Sometimes if you are very lucky, you can get one bar if you hold the phone in an upstairs window.

Made it at 0903, but the Captain was late so they hadn't started! :thumbup:

I hate the Metro because I know how good it could be like the T in Boston.

No food or drink on Metro!
Fare varies widely dependin how long you are on!
This causes you the effectively 'check in' and then 'check out' at your destination!
Absolutely no cell service unless above ground! In Boston the pipe it down around Government Center, Park, etc. by the Financial District!

I hope people continue to illegally download shows until channels can learn how to fucking run a website. imdb.com(covered in a ridiculous amount of flashy ads) and blogs don't even fuck my computer up the way official sites for shows do. I tried to be nice, and do everything the legal way, but I am fed up with their shitty players(even better, every one of the fuckers expects people to download a different player for every channel or show) continuously freezing/crashing my computer. I can't even look up music for a fucking show on the official website because they posted imeem player for nearly every fucking single song. Why is the concept of a playlist so fucking hard to comprehend?
