.. but I doubt that he would agree with you, since he professes to be some sort of pirate, yet claims to cling to laziness and drug abuse as a way of life, depending upon others to make way for him, then whining like a triple-slapped bitchslave when anyone asks for his resume. 

I think if I was a real life pirate, I would reject him, outright, and I am certain that I could outscale him on the ratlines, possibly calculate a heading as well from only a few stars and likely take his sword away as a deck game, but, more importantly, I have treasures to show for the efforts I've made.

We make more than ten times that, combined (my retirement dividend was almost five times that and I went back to work to make our lives better), and enjoy a higher standard of living, I expect.

I do not deserve any better than WE can do for ourselves, though.
