I can't decide if this is a bitch or if it should make someone laugh, but it made me laugh.
Last night, I jumped on the computer for a while and browsed a few forums. My cat had repeatedly asked permission to "lapdance" with me as I sat. I wasn't in a snuggly mode, so I sent her on her way twice. Then, my daughter wanted more to eat, so I complied (she is kind of slim and I do not disallow her food when she actually wants to eat.)
When I returned to the computer the cat was lying across my keyboard!!
I was searching the Comcast site when I left, but upon return I noticed that my "Tab bar" was really full. Obviously, something the cat was doing had opened some extra tabs. I decided to use caution and hit the "X" to close Firefox.
Pop-up Windows Dialog box and warning sound:
"You are about to close 432 tabs. Doing so may slow down your computer. Do you really want to close 432 tabs?"
Honestly, a version or two ago of Firefox, I could not open more than twenty or so tabs without having problems with FF, which monopolised the CPU time and hogged up half the RAM.
I became curious and decided to close all tabs at once. It took about a minute, but XP did not crash and FF did OK, too.
Talk about extreme abuse! The kitty is not allowed to browse using tabs anymore.
