Haha. Nah, this was a guy I like very much personalitywise but am not at all physically attracted to who asked me out; I turned him down as nicely but honestly as I could without making it seem like deep down I really wanted to date him, and he said he kind of expected that but figured he'd ask, so that went about as well as it could, I guess.
The other guy I shot down in that 24-hour-period (this stuff seems to often happen in unlikely-ly times clumps for me), I had gone on some dates with, and had one of those things happen where I totally lost interest really quickly- I'm starting to feel much more confident about the fact that when I react like that,
there is a reason (and there was). So I wasn't mean to him, but was much less worried about sparing his feelings.
is sending him back to High School.
