There's weirdness going on, though. Backups are very hard to do.

Why is it hard? Resource heavy or worse?

They are timing out before the export is complete.

What your plan to solve it?

Nagging the good people at Hostgator until they provide me with a solution. I've had Dunc try a backup as well, with identical results.

Holy shit!

I got an MP3 disk from a guy at work and when I put it in to copy it, my anti virus software warned me that I needed to delete my shell32.dll file.

Then I noticed that it was not quite my antivirus program. Bastards found my program and duplicated it but it was out-of-date looking.

This one could get lots of people to fuck up their Windows install.

I've had a look at it. Pressing the, "More Information" button launches a script which restarts Windows and overwrites the file.

I feel totally babysat, today.

I was left in charge of setting up a fairly complicated display of current camcorders. The boss who hired me is gone, but his replacement was all over me today.

Of course not, but there are plenty who would fall right into this trap. I just can't imagine why they made it so obvious.

Why didn't they say that "filename whatever (choose one of the Windows random temp file names for instance)" should be deleted, then launch the script.

Why give it away?
