Some things are funny when you look back on them even though they might not seem so funny at the time, so laugh if you feel like laughing.

The river's right next to us. It's small and barely visible through the trees, but it's there. A little one. I'm very thankful it's there, though, or I'd not be posting this from home.

Stupid cheap-ass telescope.  It wobbles so much it's impossible to use; even looking at the moon is a pain in the ass.  Also, the only time it's possible to observe anything in this country is in the middle of winter on the coldest nights.  Also, I'd like for once that when I decide to do something, I don't have to spend 2 hours first trying to find the things I need for it.  Everything in this house has fucking migration routes and things never stay in the same place for more than a few months.
