Anyway, I'd like to take this opportunity to bitch about stupid people on the bus who shout into their cell phones when people are trying to read, in order to sound important. You're right. I have a lot of metaphysical bullshit
that I try to placate myself with. But, deep down,
I'm pretty certain that it's cowardice. Having tried
to will myself, and just not being able to, it feels
pretty damned similar to a lot of things that I don't
do - sure as hell ain't no noble thoughts of how others
would be upset.

I survived a five hour cram-course on the benefits of working for Best Buy and what will be expected of my performance on the job, inside a too small, too loud room with ten other people bumping me, asking for my opinions on hypothetical situations, over-validating me for my every response, meeting about thirty new people who will expect me to remember them tomorrow, filling out endless forms for my company file, which were drawn up in a kind of pale blue ink that I am almost blind to, role playing in questionable circumstances to judge my reactions and over-stimming me, in general.  I fucking did it all and made it past the first elimination phase.

I really have nothing to bitch about.
