It was plugged in so it couldn't have been the battery.  Plus it wasn't slightly faded but almost completely black   I think it just overheats really quickly and goes spazzy.

We got the extended insurance when we bought it because I know laptops can be a mixed bag and die in the arse for no reason at times. I used to repair PCs and Laptops, mainly Laptops because those fuckers were always breaking.

I think it's just because they are mobile and that they use really tiny parts and aren't as well ventilated as desktops. Plus the hinged screen thing doesn't help, like moving parts will always wear and break.
