The doc called back about mum's x-ray.  She has 2 lesions in her lungs, and is to get another x-ray in 6 weeks to see if they've grown.

Talked to my mum about it there.  The doc said that the x-ray had shown three lesions/projectiles/masses on her 1st and 6th ribs, and that she should get a second x-ray in 3 weeks (6 weeks from the first x-ray, since it took 3 weeks to get the results) to see if the masses had grown.  He didn't say anything more than that.

doesn't sound too great, but if it'd been dire, they'd have whipped her in asap, so i suspect it's not as bad as it could be, if that's any consolation.
