I moved it and put too much pressure on the top of the screen.  I'm tough on things and am surprised it lasted since August without incident

I've got a scratch on my LCD monitor from where it fell over when I was cleaning around it.  It's a bit annoying at times, but I can live with it.  Things seldom stay in a pristine state for long when they come into my possession.
