I think I actually got no sleep last night, and I was in bed for 11 hours.  Hopefully it was just because my a/c was kind of fucked and I could only change its settings with pliers; it's fixed now.  I can't wait for sleep.

Sometimes a fan is better to rely on then AC.  And for the record, I'v lived in heat waves in the Berkshires and Albany and have never had AC in any place I've lived in.  At least the white noise of a fan and the movement of air are more cohesive to sleep then recirculated air thru an AC.

I'm not very worried (cats puke every so often), but I wondered if he was a little overheated, so I wiped him down with a wet facecloth, which he doesn't mind, but which makes him look really funny:

That's actually a really good idea, Renaeden. Even if you are completely fed up with this job and don't care about it, you don't want it to mess up getting another job, because of how you had to abruptly leave. Sorry you had to go through this.
