I seem to remember that one can buy food dehydrators. Maybe you could make your own, preservative-free dried fruits at home!  :chin:

There are plenty of dried fruits on sale that dont use sulpher dioxide. My problem is that I turn into a dumb blonde everytime I set foot in a supermarket. Any sensible person in my position would check the ingredients before buying, or at least refrain from buying a product that's already made me sick. I don't. For some reason I make myself sick with a product, and then forget about it and go back into the supermarket a couple of weeks later and buy the exact same product. This can be repeated 3 or 4 times before I finally wise up and stop buying it.
I hate shopping, but I'm the only person in the house that bothers enough to make myself do it. The others would happily live on takeaway constantly.

Miracle upon miracles. We spoke to Bigpond tonite, and they said they CAN do us an ADSL2+ connection for the same price as our old plan. 50GB of data, at 8 megabits/sec. Someone either din't know what they were talking about, or were telling porkies. I s'pose if you want anything done, you have to talk to the right people.
