Sheer luck that I went to bring my kid to the bus-stop today.
I knew chance was there that it would be relocated, but never guessed it would have been transferred all the way to the other side of the village, over one of the main national roads too. It usually is jut around the corner, and she would have found that by herself, because it has happened enough before for her to realise.
Damn, this is a traffic artery I did not want her to cross yet. She has traffic issues, that's why she is going by bus FFS.
And yes, there are traffic lights, but, as another mum said, they hardly ever work. And this is a crossing with quite some accidents every year.
I'll be waiting for her when she gets home. But, with a second kid with a different school schedule, I cannot bring and get her all the time the coming weeks. And, she probably doesn't want me to either. Not being able to cycle to school is one thing, she has her pride in being able to travel alone.
