The photo was taken in West Cork, Ireland. The bike (Tigger, the 'Wing - gettit?!) is still waiting in Cork, being cared for by my son-out-law and ridden by my daughter, until I get home.

My coat isn't waterproof when it has to shield me from cold rain. That almost thick kind of rain that isn't snow anymore. It seeps through.

Is the coat part of a uniform or could you add a waterproof coat instead?

Somehow I keep having communication problems when I try to order my uniform.  So, it is a coat of my own. And it handles all rain very well, except this thick cold rain. It's a gore-tex fabric coat, but a bit older. I guess that that is what is causing the problem. And the fact that this cold, almost snow like water, doesn't roll off the coat that fast.
I do sometimes add a plastic coat, but I don't like the sweaty effect at all. So, I don't do that often.
