I've been playing Hampton Hawes and his amazing piano trio and quartet jams most of the day, outside.

The B channel on one of my outdoor system's amps blew.

:grrr:

I opened it up and found an exploded coupling cap on the output end. I hope it didn't take any of those expensive old Motorola MOSFETs with it.

So, now, I'm no longer tri-amped out there. I am bi-amped. Still, it's about a hundred times the watts that I need. I'll survive.

Dug up another amp to use, dusted it off and it seems to work fine.

I'm putting my outdoor gear back the way it was, in a few minutes and taking a disk/mix  of Joe Satriani concerts to relax to, while I'm in the pool.

When I got up this morning, the pool was warmer than the morning air and I took a dip for the first time this season - today before work. When I logged in here, this morning I was still wet.
