I have gotten out my old Crown tape machine, because none of the tapes my mom sent, a few days ago, were labeled. This was my dad's habit, not mine, but I suffered from "near to the tree, nut" syndrome, a bit. I tried to keep it all straight, but I left a few old tapes out of the loops.

I will have to play them and remember who they are. This is why they were inadvertently mixed in with my dad's stuff, when my mom moved. There were no labels.

Fuck me, severely.



The first one turned out to be Aldo Nova~~



Actually, a decent concert band, but their pop radio hits were iffy.

I have twenty eight more mystery tapes to go.

Hey, this Aldo Nova is not bad at all.
Impossible to describe, because their concert sound was unique. I am thinking of Phish, but with some heightened musicianship, and Ozrics in a planetary collision.

DURR!

I have at least noted a number to some of them which marks serial usage. I also (vaguely) remember a journal I kept at first. Long gone, the journal and all my notes, regarding these concerts.


I will have to rely on memory, which is suspect, at times.
