good grief.

"pavonine" is to peacocks what "feline" is to cats.  and "ostentation" is the collective noun for a group of peacocks.  so, a "pavonine ostentation" is a group of peacocks.  so a group of crows could be a "corvide murder", or of owls would be a "strigine parliament".
