I have only hunted a few times in Indiana. It is more of a challenge, when you can only use a shortrange weapon, like a slug-loaded shotgun, muzzle loading cap-fired blackpowder gun, or a bow. I used to enjoy stalking when I could use a big revolver on my quarry. Using a long-gun while stalking below an animal's sightline requires a singular woodsman's skill that many can not achieve, including myself.
