A lot of houses do. But we don't. I think we have roof insulation though.

I play the game of "open all windows at night to let the cool air in then rush around shutting all the windows against the heat in the morning". GA doesn't understand this game. :P

We do have an electric air cooler/humidifier thing that we have in our bedroom. I would get no sleep without it. But I do have to get up a few times in the night to fill it with water.

I have played that game with opening and closing windows too.  I also close blinds or curtains on the sunny side of the house.

We have a big evaporative cooler on our roof, though.  It is often called a swamp cooler and it works only in dry climates.

It helps a lot here.

How many gallons of water does your cooler/humidifier hold?

We have very humid heat in the summers here don't think it would work too good.  We have fans lots of them and they spin it's better than TV sometimes :laugh:
