I + both Carla and Litigious, for turning the tide of common sense away from that embarassing TV movie.

OK, seriously, one movie moment I do remember crying at was toward the end of Homeroom, when the baby disaster comes to light and the main character loses it.  I know there have been other times but that's the only one I can think of ATM.

I'm usually more moved by books, though.  I remember finishing Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli when I was 16 and bawling my eyes out, I cried at the end of Feed (forget who that was by- I read it at 16 as well), and I remember in third grade, finishing Bridge to Terebithia (my own pursuit during free time) and trying not to cry in class.  I add the last because they're making a movie out of it and it damn well better make me tear up a bit, or they'll have failed horribly.   That movie is a BIG must-see for me.
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.
I think you'd fit in a 12" or at least a 16" firework mortar
You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

I found "The Village" very moving.
Incredible movie.....one of the best I've seen in quite a while.

The Shymalan movie?????????????   :o

Yes.

I know many hated it but I went into the film knowing nothing about it and no preconceived notions of what it was supposed to be.
Also, I tend to just get lost *IN* the film.....As long as it's interesting and captivating, (which I found it to be) I'm not trying to figure out whats coming next, I'm engrossed with whats going on in the moment.....and the village did that very, very much for me.
All of the twistes and turns were great....I didn't see them coming which totally made the movie for me.
Great music, Great cinimatography, lots of dark & mysterious elements etc, etc.

Not to impressed Shymalans latest ork though  :(
