Doing me a contemplate

I love foxes and this seems to be the only way to get foxes, they only come as one pair of fox gloves and one pair of owl gloves.  I've already gotten three sets, but I lost a pair of fox gloves recently (ADHD tax, I pay it regularly, wish I could figure out a way out).  I occasionally wear the owl ones to honor athena in the hopes she will bless me with being less stupid.  But I've been thinking.  Maybe it would honor athena even more if I order a new set to replace the fox ones that I lost recently, and get a free return, but return two pairs of owl gloves. 

Has anyone tried something like this before?  Do you think it would work?

That's got me stumped. I don't know if they'll accept owl gloves you didn't buy with the fox gloves. Maybe they will if the other owl gloves you're returning are in pristine condition (not worn and still in packaging).

They're quite a find.
