It's what the concept says. I get that you don't want rich people amassing wealth for the sake of it, but since our society is built around the concept of money rather than my carpentry in exchange over your cows and most people can't save for anything within a reasonable timeframe, it is what results because this is not a just world and people are not equal and never will be.

I'm not for expiration on money... I saw parts of what it did to people in Zimbabwe. People getting excited when tourists were visiting, and little kids asking my Aunt for money so they could simply get something to eat. I was too young to understand what was going on back then, but when I got a bit older I realized that kind of setup shouldn't work for anyone... no matter if it's a rich society, or poor like Zimbabwe tended to be with the 1000% inflation.

Actually I could see realestate becoming unattainable for most people under a system like this. If the wealthy can't hoard money, then they will hoard tangible assets instead. :dunno:

Except that the guy also proposed the abolishment of private property, so you're purchasing time-limited ownership bonds from a central authority.
