Which food and drink combo?
« on: April 13, 2023, 11:23:22 AM »
I'm not sure if the first row is tea or coffee. Either way, I like mine black.

BLT sandwich, because tons of bacon.

Do I have to choose something from the third row?

2B. I don't drink either tea or coffee.

No sweet tooth? I'm a fan of cream, so I would have gone for the cream tea, but the scone in the image has currants in it. Urgh.

2B. I don't drink either tea or coffee.

I like plain Japanese green tea or black tea, not English tea. I like how they sell cold, plain green tea and other teas in bottles in Japan, that have no sugar or milk, or anything else added whatsoever. I like cold black coffee too.

I think coffee is delicious, I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't drink it, aside from health reasons I suppose. My local Greggs for some reason can't fathom why I would want black coffee whenever I order it. So, sometimes they add milk anyway, or they dilute it with more water so it hardly has any flavour. :(

My daughter thinks there is something wrong with me. My dependencies lie elsewhere. :)

I suppose it helps keep the weight off. So is it just that you don't like anything sweet, or don't you like fatty food either?

I don't need the sweets, I think. I do love chocolate but I don't have to have it either.

As for fatty foods, it depends on what you mean. I'm mostly addicted to certain kinds of burgers. Bacon, obviously.

I suppose I was thinking more of desserts being sweet or fatty in general. I'm trying to think of some that aren't sweet, or are less sweet. Tiramisu I suppose is one, even though it's still kind of sweet.

I love bacon. I'm pretty bad when it comes to the amount I consume. I buy a couple of bacon baguettes and just eat all of the bacon and just a bit of the baguettes. If I'm frying it, I make about 6-7 rashers at a time. I remember at Xmas time when my Nan used to make a lattice of bacon for the roast chicken. I thought that was the tastiest bacon.

I like chocolate but don't need it. I haven't had salty liquorice in ages. I do miss it. The saltier and spicier, the better. They have nothing like that here except the mild version, with about 8 sweets in a small jar for about £10. I don't think there was any salty liquorice in Sweden that I didn't like. I liked the bubblegum and vanilla bullets, the puck with powder in it, the paper wrapped packet of disc shaped sweets, the liquorice in the chocolate bars (plus your other chocolate bars), the Turkish Peber. etc. I liked the Dumle lollies too, except they really stick to your teeth.

F3 and in a rare moment, a few bites of B.

I'm with Odeon a bit here. I rarely eat sweets anymore.
But almost anything smoked? I'm right there! Don't want any mayo though. Hot mustard, maybe.

People who aren't addicted to caffeine don't get caffeine withdrawal headaches.  :lol1:
