Sugarbutt's Christmas gift came in the mail today.  I also received part of my momma's gift but it was past the expiration date so I have to return it.

Christmas is generally shopped and wrapped by Thanksgiving. It makes the holiday season a less stressful.

Some junk mail and a letter for Kayleigh saying she has to go to hospital for a nerve test on her wrist (she has carpal tunnel syndrome). She's already had it so she has to ring and cancel the hospital one.

Got my second quarter investment statements from some of my mining investments which have been shut down or curtailed drastically by the Biden Administration.
I've lost A LOT OF MONEY this year! And the year is not over yet!
Not sure why the hard metal investments, copper, tin, iron ores, molybdenum oxidates are not doing well, though. Silver and gold are both down again, too!

Another Christmas gift arrived today. It looks good, which is a relief. One out of three isn't a great start, but at least I'm not completely starting over.  There was also some junk and a bill that I already paid last weekend. I don't know what took it so long to get here.

A new desk chair arrived for the boy, it's a gift from the girl. A couple of days ago she and I were talking and I was saying his christmas gift was going to be a toss up between new bedding or a new chair. She said she was getting him the chair, but I said no because they agreed years ago to stop buying each other gifts and I didn't want him to feel awkward. She said, no not for christmas, it's for right now just because, it will be there is two days. He was so surprised and excited, he assembled it right away and then called her to show it to her and thank her. Then when they were done talking, she and I talked for another hour.
