A letter from the power company warning the cost of their services is about to go up.   

We got one of those recently also.
Electricity is our biggest utility bill, more than triple our water or gas, more than ten times our waste bill.
Cable and cell service are right up there, too. Each one almost half the electric bill.
I wish I could downgrade some of that, but I enjoy my streaming programs.

A few years ago there was a considerable drop in the cost of electricity here. Even after all this time, I'm still impressed by the bills, because when does that ever happen, something gets cheaper? Never, that's when. I'll have to wait to see what the increase means for us.

Bills. An appointment for an orthopaedic specialist next month. My feet will finally get some relief. Maybe.

FINALLY, a roll of stamps I ordered three weeks ago.
Everything is always three to five business days with the USPS (our postal service).

I received a bastard and a half bastard.
I never expected them to go USPS, but my order came early, too.

They are files I ordered. Bastard is just the name they use to describe the type of cut they can do. A bastard can cut in both directions and a half bastard only cuts on the push stroke. Half bastards can be very aggressive! Mine is a course half bastard. Extremely aggressive cut.
The bastard is meant for more refined shaping of metals.

If I am wrong, blame the Nicholson website for that description. Nicholson files have always been the best I have used, so I got two more to replace the worn out ones I have had for so many years.
