The Corona virus levels are currently very low. Dare one hope?

Maybe, but I don't think those published numbers we've seen are universal. Some cities are still struggling at times, although to a lesser degree than two years ago.

I'm pretty sure we'll have another wave sooner or later, but with many people having had it and with many people vaccinated, maybe it won't be as bad. Hopefully there won't be room for that many mutations.

But I worry about other parts of the world, and I worry about society not learning anything. I worry about the next pandemic.

I mean really. Anyways, I fully expect to get it every year like the flu. It's been pretty bad everytime ive had it, but so is just about everything else these days. Hah

For the longest time I thought I wouldn't catch it. Took me close to three years. It wasn't too bad until later when my taste buds were properly off.

They are coming back but it's slow and weird.

Someone at the Salvos had it a week ago. They were visibly sick and went home early. Two other people caught it from her. I work in a different area so I only saw her from a distance.

I know of only one other person who, like me, hasn't had Covid.

Some of my taste buds are not what they used to be. I can't eat certain foods because they smell and taste like puke. Literally.

I was at the gym/physio this morning and while I was paying, the receptionist told me that three people cancelled their appointments earlier due to having Covid. So it's still making its rounds locally.

The covid mess is what it is. I've found I can avoid the foods that are troublesome, most of the time. Sometimes not, but mostly yes.

More people are getting sick again. I need to get a booster shot.

I never had aversions to foods. Mainly what I experienced was a lack of taste sensation with certain things. One of my favorite flavors is mustard and that pleasure was gone for a couple of years.
I have either gotten the taste for it back or relearned to enjoy it somehow.

There's been another outbreak here in Perth. I've heard that 4 people have died in the past week.
