I was watching Christopher Hitchens absolutely destroy his opponent on Youtube the other day and thought of Scrap. I'm pretty sure Scrap wanted to be more like him but, like so many of us, couldn't. Scrap wasn't sufficiently well read, not quick enough, but watching Hitchens it was quite clear to me who he wanted to emulate.

Pea requests that you remove this comment in order to not speak ill of the dead.

Scrap isn't here to defend his position or his motives.

I split the topic, since Odeon's not here and nobody else probably wants to touch this with a ten foot pole.

Pea told me he wants to resolve this civilly.

Because I said he wanted to emulate Hitchens, or because he like so many of us couldn't be more like him? Honestly, what's the problem with that?

This has gone on way toooooooo long.  Can we find a middle way?

Dunno about middle but possibly an option C.

Thinking I should bow out. C, B, A, something. RIP Scrap.

Works for me, enough is enough.  We all have our feelings about scrap, good and bad.  I prefer to remember the good and let it go.  No shit stirring from me.
