My responsibility as an upstanding citizen, apparently. The city just paid me a call to warn that I should cut back my jungle a little.

Lol, that seems really odd from this side of the pond - our local council has little enough success discouraging people from fly tipping, throwing food out for the vermin (ostensibly for feral pigeons, but the rats get a fair bit of it), and a fair percentage of yards have sodden mattress/rotting car/manky bonfire/insert crap here in them.
