I know that you must have a busy life, being a virologist, an epidymiologist, a political scientist, and now an expert in UK law.

I'll make this simple for you.  It is not illegal for someone to travel to the UK, even in an inflatable boat, and ask for asylum.  It is only "illegal" if they do not ask for asylum when they get here.


But I guess I'm not a lawyer like you, so please feel free to point me to the statute that makes asylum claims illegal and also let me know where you got your law degree, because I think they need boycotting for their lax standards.
