My state votes blue no matter who so a vote for Trump would be wasted. The only effective way for me to show a protest vote is to vote either Libertarian or Constitution party. The Libertarian candidate, Jo Jorgensen has a few positions I disagree with (open borders and support of BLM) which leave a bad taste in my mouth. The Constitution part candidate, Don Blankenship is a dirty rotten businessman and criminal who makes Trump look like a boy scout.

I'll have to plug my nose and vote for Jo Jorgensen.

Torys do an excellent job at trolling themselves. It's likely they'll do terribly this next general election. As much as I hate Starmer for being an enlightened centrist fuckwit, I'm voting Labour.

I'm lucky that we have preferential voting, I can give my primary vote to the greens and/or the socialists, put Labor about #3, and the conservatives dead screaming last.

Labor here are just a less extreme brand of conservative.

example: the government says its wrong to smoke weed, I could post angry shit on facebook about how the government is wrong, or spend hundreds of thousands of pounds trying to change the law. Or I could just... smoke the damn weed.
