They should impeach.
It will be interesting to see what happens; still trying to figure out what to say about it.
Yes, they should? No, they shouldn't? An opinion?
It's still all sinking in, and am currently a bit twisted. Part of me wants to be reserved and agree with house democrats who are being reserved, because I see the wisdom in that. If there were proof of collusion, impeachment would have bipartisan support, but on the grounds of obstruction alone, public opinion weighs more heavily, and it would be incredibly divisive to both the public and government regardless of the outcome, in an atmosphere that's already entirely too divisive. Proceedings would also take a long time and likely lead into the next election, so the people who say it would be best left for the voters to decide have a valid argument. Part of me doesn't care if he's impeached, much less for whatever failed attempts at obstruction. There was interference in the election, he and his campaign knew it and didn't report it, and did nothing to defend our country's democracy. I want to see a law against that. Part of me thinks it's beyond public opinion, fears for the next election, or even standing up to Trump, and while congress has a duty to represent the views of their constituents, they also have a duty to the common defense and general welfare of the United States. I want to know who will stand up for my country. *waves flag*
