I plan to move to a state which is more relaxed about physical punishment if I ever have kids. I don't plan to regularly beat the shit out of my kids, but I'd like to give 'em at least a few physical punishments when they are at a certain age, and periodically so that when I threaten them later to do something or else(probably as a last resort), they'll be inclined to believe there actually will be a result.
