No.  This place had a reputation on AS and I wasn't sure I could "compete."     

It's a pretty accurate example of my thought process. I'm less of a deep water and more of a shallow pond thinker.  If a post goes on for more than two or 3 lines there's a definite possibility I may not be able to follow the thought process of the poster.  I can't think of a cohesive answer because the post overwhelms me.  That's why my posts seem odd to me; as if they were cut off in mid thought.

Didn't mean the content, but instead the style of writing. The misspellings, lack of punctuation and capitalization. It's sloppy and not like your writing at all.

Well, I am far away from indifferent on many things. I DO chose my battles to make the best use of my time and effort.

Lessons one learns after a sufficient number of scars have accumulated that you can not remember how you got.
All my  "favorite scars"  have a full story of befores and afters to tell. Then, sometimes, additional follow-up stories which can often attest that I learned that lesson the hard way.
 
I do not mean to sound condescending, but some things are just taken that way by some. I think we both have thick enough skin to share these ideas.
