Grok.

From a Heinlein novel. I'd forgotten all about it until I saw it used the other day. Misspelled.  >:(

Fob.

Apparently, a word for keychain. It was used in the computer game Fallout, and both there, and elsewhere, it is erroneously acronymized as "FOB", although it is a proper word: Fob.

I used "sub judice" in my appellate brief and my professor admitted to having to Google it.  To me that feels like a win, but he felt I should have dumbed it down :(

NEGs to your prof for wanting you to "dumb down" an intellectual exercise.

Is this lametard asking you to eliminate Latin from the voice of law?  If so, he may have forgotten from whence a large portion of modern day law comes.

:yikes:
Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

Yes, I agree.  What's the point of getting a law degree if I can't use it to talk down to people ;)
