I used "sub judice" in my appellate brief and my professor admitted to having to Google it. To me that feels like a win, but he felt I should have dumbed it down
I used the word "opined" in an essay and my tutor drew a circle around it and put a question mark there. There is such a word, I know there is.
Yeah, people don't understand there is such a thing as one criterion.
