Who would be up for recieving e-cards?
« on: January 15, 2007, 10:30:02 AM »
I just remembered making this post on the Neurolands quite awhile back, and then seeing Dunc's Bday thread reminded me.

You can post here if you want to have eCards sent to you when memebers would like to cheer you up, say hi, or make you laugh. Just give the email address you'd like the cards sent to, and any specifications (for example, if you do or don't celebrate certain holidays, when your birthday is if you want people to send cards for it, if you only want sympathy cards when you're down, or if you hate contact with people when you're depressed and only want to be sent cards when people think you're in a good mood, if you hate animated ecards, if you prefer animated ecards, etc).

I would like to be the first to say I do NOT want eCards! I'd send them, though, most likely.

This does seem like a kind of nice idea, provided we don't wind up with people gleefully sending viruses left and right. I, for one, would specify my online name and probably use one of my less-oft-used email accounts for sending things out. I have at least five emails, so I can kind of have my pick as far as keeping security at a max. I mention this in case you don't want to give your main email- in case you have and want to use one you use less often/is less traceable.

Probably less workable on I2 than on Neurolands but thought I'd post it anyway.
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.
I think you'd fit in a 12" or at least a 16" firework mortar
You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

I don't want eCards either. You could cheer me up here if I ever would tell you when I'm really sad.

I'd rather get a PM.

I prefer email or msn, and I tend to get annoyed and feel uncomfortable and obligated when people try and cheer me up, unless they approach it in a fairly practical way I am afraid. I rarely like anything cuddly or huggy coming my way, lol.
