Odeon showed he had not thought things through before he foisted his political opinions into the mill.
It is a common theme I find. He knows what he dislikes but has no idea why and cannot think things through. He has got all the talking points and the zealous indignation, which is a start I guess, and he even backs this up with righteous moralising.
He just does not have the critical thinking part. Maybe he never will.
