Rhythm method works just fine. And if you aren't promiscuous and happen to be in a long term, monogamous relationship then you shouldn't need them. I'm clean...not that it will ever matter.

Catholics have been doing that for years.  Average size of a catholic family should tell you how well that ends up working in practice.
