Waiting for the Ducks to play UC Davis. Obviously the Ducks will kill them, it's only a question of how many points.

Right now I'm watching Oklahoma Sooners vs Houston Cougars. The Cougars are winning 33-17.

One of their touchdowns was a play rarely seen in football. The Sooners were attempting a 46 yard field goal that fell short. Houston had a safety in the endzone who caught the ball as it fell short of the goalpost. He then ran it 100+ yards in for a pick 6.

I can't recall the last time I've seen that happen but it's been several years.

Yep. they lost 14-16 against Wisconsin. The Badgers, even though unranked, are one of the better teams in the Big 10.

The Ducks took it easy on UC Davis, they only beat them 53-28.

Probably had a lot of 2nd and 3rd string players in there towards the end.

Devin Hester, from one of my alma maters, used to do that (run back missed FGs) in the NFL. I was at a game in the old Orange Bowl between the Unversity of Miami and the University of Louisville (2 of my 3 alma maters), when Hester ran back 5 kicks. One was called back, so they redid the kickoff and he ran it back again, so only 4 actually counted.

Well, the PAC-12 went 7-5 in their first week of playing with only Stanford beating a strong opponent.

Oregon State, Washington State, UCLA and Arizona Wildcats all missed opportunities to beat decent teams but didn't.

No one thought that USC would beat Alabama but they embarrassed themselves with the rout that the Crimson Tide handed them.

All in all, the PAC-12 needs to step up their game.

All three of my schools are in the ACC. Two won big with 70+ points against essentially HS teams. The third lost to essentially a HS team, but their athletic department won the College Cup last year with three men's national titles (CWS, Soccer, and Tennis), so the football team continuing to suck doesn't really matter. The basketbell team has become a perennial Top 5 team as well.

b) The ACC is the strongest basketball, baseball, lacrosse, and soccer conference.
c) The polls are overly biased towards the SEC, Big XII, and Big 10.

I am a Miami alum. I HATE FSU! In fact, my cousin was the head coach at Miami when we won our first National Championship and is well-regarded as the architect of the program. Granted we have sucked in recent years, but I have been a part of all 5 titles and even briefly played baseball there. The only team I wouldn't overtly root for against FSU would be VT, and that is because I am also a Virginia alum. The January 2000 Sugar Bowl was the worst-case scenario for me. I have shirts that say blatantly how much FLORIDA STATE SUCKS!!!

Did anyone else watch the game between Texas and Notre Dame?

That's the only time I can remember a PAT being blocked and the other team running it in for a 2 point touchdown.
