machinery appreciation thread
« on: January 07, 2007, 09:59:22 AM »
C'mon, you might just as well admit it; we are nothing more than puny blobs of meat, gradually decaying, and doomed to rot away. Our existence is not merely useless, but extraordinarily silly. Non-organic machinery can be made to be vastly superior. Longer-lasting, preciser, stronger, and much, much more reliable. It can be brought much closer to perfection than we can ever hope to come within our puny, insignificant little lives. Be honest with yourselves; you could learn plenty by studying the flawless workings of a well-made and well-set-up computer. Let yourself be inspired; strive not to make your computer more human, but to make yourself more computer-like.

So, with this in mind, I thought it would be a good idea to be honest and say some nice things about the BETTER ones.

I'll start:

Though we are stronger regarding our creativity, computers, for the most part, are by far stronger than humans regarding the performing of other mental tasks.

Oh, I totally agree, but you misspelled "00001100101011110".

And as always, these are simply my worthless opinions.
Reverence is fine, Sanctity is silly.
We're all fucked, it helps to remember that.
