You can get pain from ovulation, too, I think. I've had it happen several times; it'll be so bad it hurts to sit upright, let alone stand, and nothing that treats GI stuff will help it, while pain killers will. I usually just wind up going fetal if I'm home, or trying to ride around on the bus for awhile so the vibrations loosen me up if I'm at school (we have free busses running around all the time).
Holy jesus, this has been happening to me FOREVER. Forgot I'd talked about it before. Guess my theories on wtf it is have changed over time.
Or the location of the pain? Just wondering, have you had your appendix out?
No, I haven't.
If it was the appendix flaring up, wouldn't it have killed me by now?
I remember mine bothered me on and off for six months before I got it removed. I have read that sometimes people can be troubled with appendix pain for years before something gets done. Rare though. I am just wondering what area your pain is in.
Not that rare, heard of people who had mild inflammations of the appendix happening again and again, but, with easing down of the inflammation too. Most hospitals will not operate then. Not far from here there is a hospital that does operate then, but, they choose to do it when the appendix is mellowed down, because recovery will be faster after that.
And yes, for some that means a solution after years and years of painful episodes.
