Zegh will not grace us with his presence here. I am kind of teary and shit. But it does not mean this ought not be addressed.
It is not to say that I will not let Zegh address his reluctance to do the call-out. If you believe Zegh it is a righteous moral conviction and makes him better than anyone else that has ever started, actively contributed in a callout or enjoyed the callout culture that is I2. But let's get it from the horse's ass...I mean horse's mouth:
http://www.intensitysquared.com/index.php/topic,23205.msg1083662.html#msg1083662Just to avoid ANY more confusion.
If you debate with me according to the premise SET IN the thread, then I will debate along. That is why I make threads, and thousands of people have had the experience of debating with me.
If you try to - deliberately or subconciously - change the premise to your own, for whatever reason - I will unleash a relentless flow of ad hominem attacks - as some might have experienced.
I will not be dragged alone a change of premise, because it is a manipulative egomanical power-ploy used by people with control obsessions. That is how it works.
If there are misunderstandings, innocent mis-readings, then those are merely errors on my part, or the opposite party's part. If these misunderstandings are pointed out as soon as possible, the issue might be resolved quickly - but misunderstandings can and will happen, and there are no protocols for those, because they are accidental anomalies of life. But to try to skew a debate into a different premise, is a coward-move.
It is also the same reason I don't engage in call-outs, because call-outs follow an allready pre-set premise - one of the measuring of dicks in front of an audience for the purpose of verbal feed back, meant to raise one's self esteem. My self esteem is just fine and dandy, so to participate in those serves only to bolster my opponents self-esteem, something I have no interest in doing. So there we have it. It certainly avoids all confusion doesn't it. He likes to control the narrative and the style of the debate and how it will occur irrespective of where he is. Parameters are according to his wishes. He also makes condemnation of cowardly behaviour.........which is kind of ironic.
The thread he wrote that on is locked.
http://www.intensitysquared.com/index.php/topic,17590.msg763157.html#msg763157and here is what Odeon said once
Here's the thing, though: what if other people want to comment? At I2, locking threads is considered to be cowardly. If you had bothered to read some of the past posts here, or maybe the welcoming message, you might have made the connection.
This is not Kansas anymore, buttercups.
Hypocrisy is not honest. It is essential though for the type of people who want to control the narrative or discourse. The type of people who are likely to demand censoring of words, banning things that offend them, blocking users, banning members, closing posts to future comment, asking for trigger warnings, not answering questions and attacking with ad homs rather than the claims made. Tumblrettes certainly fit this type. It has me wondering if Zegh is a Tumblr poster? A Tumblr hardman maybe?
Of course I won't know because he won't come here because he is ...... a coward. Just like he was a coward for locking his thread. He can not control the discourse and it is control he needs. He says that he is quite okay with himself but then if he was he would not mind try to control the narrative nor would he make ad homs instead of arguments nor lock threads nor be so terribly dishonest.
Zegh's last two threads are dishonest.
These are the two threads in Question and the basis for this callout

I am in no particular rush. There is plenty of material to cover and I am cool chipping away at it without distraction.
