Do you know of any sources of info to get a better handle on possible discrimination (inc. age discrimination) as well as simple job availability vs market saturation in a particular industry?  Am particularly wondering about tech.
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.

That first exercise the guy does is right - except I laid flat on my back on the floor on the towel looking at the ceiling.

His exercise is for side to side scoliosis.
Having done more research, I think if it's not sideways, it's not scoliosis.
I think it is called kyphosis?

Kyphosis is an outward curve that causes a hunchbacked appearance.  I have a small
degree of that in the neck area, which gives the look of a very slight dowager's hump.  :prude:
Scoliosis is indeed a sideways curvature, though in my case it's just a subtle meandering
to one side, not a drastic S-shaped curvature as in more severe cases, like Richard III.

The PR has very mild scoliosis because of the Cerebral Palsy.  Also, her right shoulder is noticeably lower than her left.  Clothes often slide off to that side unless the neckline is cup high enough.  Bra straps end up halfway down her upper arm.

is there a good way to fix a cracked rib without wasting time at the ER?

Pain meds to make you less miserable, rest, ice, and limited activity for about 6 weeks + depending on how bad.

I'd get it checked though, they can't put a cast on a rib, but if it's broken and not cracked you run the risk of puncturing a lung or something else.

No  but good thoughts and I'll share my chocolate with you.

just cracked. the inordinate amount of pain was from having two cracked ribs. the one just below was cracked a month ago and isn't healed yet. i got a nerve block which reduced the pain to tolerable.

Good news...well kind of :P.

Never cracked a rib fortunately. Have had quite a few episodes of costochondritis...my mind was magnifying that pain x10...not pretty.

Take care Wolfish. I hope they heal quickly.

When Kayleigh and I were messing around quite some time ago, I ended up breaking a rib right near my sternum. It started bothering me a lot a week after I did it, possibly because I was carrying a bag with 3 textbooks in it around uni. I went to the uni doctor where it was confirmed what I had done. It hurt to breathe in especially, and to pick up my bag.

The only treatment was to take Panadol. I did a couple of times but nothing happened so I stopped. It got better after about 5 weeks.

In September 2015 I fell against the edge of my bathtub and fractured a rib.  Didn't even
realize at the time because I also pulled some muscles in my lower back and that hurt a LOT.
It took weeks for the muscle spasms to be gone.  :zombiefuck:  I found out about the rib a month later.
