To show her 3 year old boy that Spiderman has a soft side too, after she discovered that her boy would hold his tears back, since Spiderman "does not cry", and she thought it was terrible that a 3-year old felt such pressure from a non-existing superhero.

She made several drawings, all of them featuring a superhero with his/her child. Spiderman sits in the bathroom, pooping, with his spider-toddler on a lil potty.

"pedophile!" was one response from Americans, who further explained "Adults have no business going to the bathroom with a child!"

Which brings me to this:

How DEEP in this MADNESS are Americans, thus far?
Is it ILLEGAL for an American parent to show their genitals, to their own children for example, like, if a child in America walks in on their dad showering, will this now be a criminal matter?

How do American parents breastfeed - or worse: CHANGE DIAPERS in an atmosphere where ANY contact between an adult, and a naked child = pedophile assault?

Are diapers illegal in America? Is breastfeeding made fully illegal yet? I know there's plenty of restriction to breastfeeding

I know I'm probably being a bit exaggerated here - but some of these things ARE "slippery slopes", for example the notion that "parents should never be in the bathroom with their children" - once enough people GET this idea IN their heads... it will slowly begin to shape society - and ultimately legislation.

That's the "slippery slope" I'm talking about. Let's hope it does not get any more stupid momentum, since people have a tendency to jump onto such ideas, that concern The Children. The Children is a concept that sells well...
Especially sensitive of course, is the whole idea of nudity around children. Boom - pedophile. One thing that does not only concern America, but all the west, and that you can observe from the past 20-30 years, is the dressing of toddlers in bikinis, in public beaches.

I remember hiking for miles in the woods alone when I was 9 or 10...without *gasp* even a cell phone.
I remember riding my bike alone to town (probably 5 miles round trip) when I was 13.
I remember staying home alone, and waiting outside by myself in the car at the store for my mom to finish shopping (because I hated shopping).

It brings it back to these hysterical laws, like one air-line company, dont remember which, which would only pair children travelling alone - with women, and not men, since men are scaryer or something, to a kid. Since when!? Kids don't have dads!? Nono, it's obviously the notion that guys are pervs, and will perv on the kid!
While obviously, in normal reality, the vast majority of people are not pervs... or likely to sexually assault OR frighten children on board an airplane...
It's a dumb, overprotective regulation - but that gives other people ideas

One of our cats is like that she even hangs out in the bathrooms a lot  when no one is in there not sure of the attraction

I roamed the neighborhood freely when I was 5 and much further by the time I was 9, my sisters were supposed to be watching me but usually didn't.  Starting at 11 I walked about two miles to school part of which was a short cut along the rail road tracks
