My daughter doesn't want kids. I think it's a good call not to have them if she dislikes them.

I think the Pope was always gonna hold that particular line.. It more a Catholic thing than anything else. He will be okay with Atheists or even maybe gays, but contraception or abortion or even choosing not to have children?  No chance

  Thank you.  The older I get, the more grateful I am that I never attracted a mate when I was fertile. 
  I dreamed of motherhood for decades, in a cluelessly romanticized way, but  I don't actually like children,
  and I would have been absolute rubbish at it, as the Brits would say.

  I'm very grateful not to have that burden of worry that probably lasts till the last breath.

I like my kids. They've both grown up into nice people, so maybe we did something right.
