Stumbled across his music, currently enjoying most of it.

I like this one, and then let youtube autoplay.

Can't you guys even just imagine it?

Forget practicality, or your experience....can you just....imagine?

It's there. It always was.

I like the lyrics to it, and that the words are very easy to make out, unlike with some music.
Had not heard of him before. The beat makes me a bit sleepy though, I always find that with that sort of style.

I have being getting into this guy recently, discovered because he did the theme to Broadchurch, from which this song comes.
I rarely venture into any of today's music, but if something turns up in a film or tv series that catches my attention, I research it. No idea how to get this to actually show as a video in this box, lol.

Ah, thanks. Learn something new everyday. I kept quoting your post to see what was different, and somehow missed that.
I downloaded a few albums by Olifur Arnalds to try out, though I prefer the songs with the haunting voice of Arnor Dan.

fun coincidence, tv here played it behind me, when I was internetting around, I liked it and looked it up, this one

I like coming across random lil tunes. I usually don't check more from the artists either - both worried that one song will be a lucky fluke - or worried its ALL awesome, and I suddenly got to download new 30 tracks

A friend of mine recently threw me this one

she has an uncanny ability to throw me good tunes, and I'm always a sucker for that spazzy "drill" beat harmonizing with soft melodies

Thanks! I really enjoyed that, and i think i actually got away with playing it this time of night. Hadn't heard Jaar before. Will keep my eye on him.

I followed that up with playing some more Jaar, and found that ...hmm. i don't like him as much as i like the Books, and wound up switching to this.  If you guys haven't heard this, I think you're gonna like. (or even if you have heard before)

This one was playing in a cafe I was in recently, and I hastily hunted the lyrics on my phone, to find it was this song... another artist I had never heard of before. The chorus just really gave me that happy feeling.

And this one, was played during a scene in Silent Witness, a Uk forensics/crime series, and when I looked it up and found who it was, I was somewhat surprised as I have never been into that type of music before. The lyrics and chorus, again, resonated with me. Interesting both have some connection to sin and churches.

Hehe, well since this has now well-and-truly become the Music Free Association Thread, here's another one for Graelwyn.  This caught my eye,  umm ear?? when it was used as the theme song for the TV series Luther.
Yet more sin.

Aha, I loved that series. Wonder if there will be any more? I must revisit it.
Yeah, music has been a lifelong passion for me, special interest I would say, as I know thousands of lyrics by heart and listening to certain songs gives me this weird feeling of happiness, even if it is a sad song. But I have not kept up to date with it, and assumed there is nothing modern that would appeal to me. I guess I need to do more exploration.
