Hey guys, could you do me a HUGE favour.

The Shorty Awards are coming up and nominations are getting made and there is opportunity to vote for people in a particular category.

I want to give you some options. If you want to,, it would be HUGE if you could vote. They have already been nominated and all you would be doing is going to each like completing the statement

"I nominate @PlayDangerously for a Shorty Award in #healthyliving because..."

After having selected the category.

It would be fantastic if you guys could.

http://shortyawards.com/girlwriteswhat - Girlwriteswhat (Karen Straughan) is a Canadian Anti-Feminist and Mens Right Activist. She has spent years trying to improve dialogue and rights of men and boys. She is a single mother of both boys and girls and a big motivation is the future for her children.
Please vote for her in the parent category

http://shortyawards.com/Sargon_of_Akkad - Sargon is great value. He is a British guy with a great accent, clever and funny delivery and really good videos. He is intelligent and insightful. He is popular on Youtube but undervalued and under-estimated.
In the category of Youtube Guru, he is a great pick. Please vote for him.

http://shortyawards.com/TheRalphRetort - Ralph of the blog The Ralph Retort, is awesome. He is not delicate but he is honest and factual. The truth is that his stance is a VERY unpopular one in the Gaming Industry and he risks much to report the truth. A true journalist at heart.
He deserves to be recognised if not for winning then at the very least, with a few votes on Blogger category

http://shortyawards.com/oliverbcampbell - Oliver Campbell is a bloody legend and well loved by supporters of the Gamergate culture. He is an ex-journalist and triathlete. This is the kind of inspirational, soft spoken spirit-lifting speech and support he gives
He may be a lot of things but I would love to see him getting recognised as the Athlete he is. He is a successful triathlete (even though he suffers terribly from Graves disease). He is an inspiration.

http://shortyawards.com/Boogie2988 - You know that stereotype of the be jolly teddybear of a man? Well you might not have a better definition than this guy. He is kind, gentle, and has not a bad bone in his body. He tries to see good in everyone and make everyone happy.
Vote him in Youtuber of the Year.

http://http://shortyawards.com/femfreq - The biggest fake I know is this lady, Anita Sarkeesian. She started off in college learning and then peddling Teleseminars. Later associating and teaming with a Pick Up Artist, flogging off courses on getting women to sleep with you through Neuro-linguistic Programming (sound like a hustle?). A decade later she has positioned herself (with a radical Feminist, social agitator and writer - Jonathan McIntosh) to attack any spaces in society not deemed Feminist enough for her. Playing passive aggressive, Avoiding argument, "Damselling" and politicising victimisation, whilst pushing her hateful ideology, she has duped vast swathes of people
She deserves her recognition as a fake with a fake account award.

http://shortyawards.com/radicalbytes - OK Covered him a bit. He is so crazy we have a term #FullMcintosh to describe when someone either freaks out textual or says something really over the top.
Here are some examples

So a non-human award would suit him well

Thanks in advance guys.

I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

That is OK. Votes vs Apathy, Apathy wins every time

This issue isn't important enough. It's just a dopey popularity contest.

If I'm to be arsed, it would be to actually help Karen in a meaningful way, or to expose Anita for what she is.

But you wouldn't. You'd rather make fun of people values or concerns, wouldn't you? Like how you think people who believe Israel is out of hand are Nazis, simply because they dare to speak about who a jewish person should blow up.
