Yeah, superpacs basically make presidents and corporations generously donate to them in order to secure their interests in the next term. Funny thing is, such powerful corporate ventures or the very idea of corporations wouldn't even exist without that system.

ISIS do need the shite bombing out of them though. Or they are going to do it to us. These guys are real bastards, raghead fundies, torturers, murderers and rapists, as well as slavers. They need a campaign thats as harsh as the fist of god to lay the smackdown on them. A resurgent fundamentalist caliphate we do NOT need, their stated aim is to take over and then force islam, and a medieval version of islam (as if there were any other kinds of islam ) at that.

They WILL come here, they probably already are in the form of supporters and a few lone wolves and small localized threats, but they will end up as a true infestation if they aren't stamped on with extreme prejudice while they are busy fucking up the middle east more than it is already.

Although if we are lucky they might take on israel and de-kike the middle east a bit while they are at it.

Wouldn't it be more effective to just wall off the west and not allow any shenanigans rather than pour resources into empire right now? Defense, rather than attack. Hell, offer to help isil kill off the ancient alien banking families as a reward for good behavior.

I don't think the answer is to bomb the shite out of Iraq. We screwed up the first time, with this whole plan of transitioning authority to their local police force, such as it was, when we were really just looking for excuses to tick some kind of success box on a mission report, with no bearing on the reality of the stability of the situation. I don't see how throwing bombs at the problem is going to make anything better. It'll just breed more hatred, waste money and resources, and leave a wasteland behind which would be even harder to grow into a pleasant/peaceful society.
