Liberation Day. Once it was a national holiday. Then some economising politicians thought it should be celebrated every year, but was only to be a national holiday once in every five years. And thus it never happened, because it is not embedded in all kinds of working agreements. So, now half of the people with regular jobs has to work, and the other half has the day off. People working in restaurants are working of course.
Makes it unorganised and chaotic, half of the shops open, other half closed and such.
It pisses most of the people off that apparently being free is not worth an annual proper national holiday.
